Uyghur PEN, one of 145 Centres in 104 Countries, exists to promote friendship and intellectual co-operation among writers everywhere, to fight for freedom of expression and represent the conscience of world literature.
The International PEN Uyghur Centre is an international, non-profit organization build up by mainly Uyghur writers, editors, translators, art researcher, publisher, poets, and archeologist-historian , film producers, etc, with no ties to any politic parties, country`s or government.
